“Love Your Poetry” is an online journal that celebrates friendship, poetry, praise, and that glorious feeling when you see your friend write a poem you really really love.

Submissions are done in two parts:

1. A Poem written by Poet

2. A Paragraph of Praise written by Friend of Poet, about why they love the Poem.

Selection by editor is made purely on the basis of how much I like the Paragraph of Praise.

Both Poem and Paragraph of Praise are published at LoveYourPoetry.org

The Fine Print:

• Poems / Paragraph of Praise should not have been previously published.

• We see this as an act of collaboration. Please ensure that your co-contributor (be it either Poet or Friend of Poet) is happy to submit, enter into an editing process, and co-publish in Love Your Poetry! We will be seeking explicit consent from both parties.

• This journal business is all new to us, so please be patient as we figure out a better submission process. In the meanwhile, reach out using the contact form.

• We should get back to you within the month... we’ll try our best anyway.

• We will not tolerate, correspond with or publish anything that is abusive, sexist, racist, homophobic, trans-phobic, or otherwise mean or awful. And we are final arbiters on what’s awful for the purposes of Love Your Poetry! #SorryNotSorry.

• P.S. Don’t be afraid to be OTT and arty with your Paragraph of Praise. We’re poets. We like OTT and arty.
