Join us at the Taproom, Castlemaine for the launch of Stu Hatton’s new book, In the Not-too-distant Present.

Stu will be in conversation with poet Andy Jackson. There will be readings, plus a Q&A where the audience will be invited to ask questions and join the conversation.

Poems from the book have featured in journals and anthologies such as the Australian Poetry Anthology, Cordite Poetry Review, Southerly, and Westerly. And poet Jill Jones has said of the collection, ‘This is visceral, haunted and, yes, discomforting writing which is a necessary provocation within the current madness’.

Please note that the Taproom has recently shifted to a larger space within the Mill complex, next to the Vintage Bazaar.
