Here we nurture and celebrate the creative spirit understanding that the stories that lay behind the art are often as powerful as the art itself.

Castlemaine based song writer Matthew Colin brings with him the philosophy of history’s great songwriters “a song and a friend for every mile behind”.
It’ll only take listening to one or two lines to find a writer of considered craft, values nested in a time of country folk music when all that mattered was the song itself.

Wattle Lane
Cate Taylor is an award-winning, indie-folk songwriter from Naarm (Melbourne), performing delicately crafted material with voice, guitar and mandolin.
Amla is a captivating multi-instrumentalist—flautist, violinist, and vocalist—drawing on her classical training and extensive performance experience.
Together they form the contemporary folk duo Wattle Lane.They present moving songs that explore social, personal, and environmental themes through stories, ballads, and upbeat tunes, balancing contemporary and traditional folk sounds.

Tariro Mavondo
Tariro is a Zimbabwean born Frankston raised creative who has been working in the arts sector for over 15 years. She has built a healthy portfolio as a theatre director, multi award winning actor working on stage and screen , spoken word poet, voice over artist, facilitator.
Tariro also enjoys time behind the scenes advocating for cultural diversity and systems change in the arts. Tariro's recent awards include being nominated for an Aria Music Award in 2021 with her collaboration with The Australian Art Orchestra for Best Jazz Album.
Tariro’s career highlights have been taking part in The NGV Afro-Centric Experience curated by Candy Bowers and being a featured artist at theBankstown Poetry Slam in NSW.
