The Simba Sessions is a pop up, monthly music & poetry night curated around a theme, supporting independent artists.
We are a not-fore-profit event and small, growing community drawn together by stories and the arts. We build community and seek to hold safe, courageous spaces that challenge the stories we tell ourselves.
Here we nurture the creative spirit and crelebreate the power of the stories that lay behind the art and their power to bring change.

Timothy Coghill
With Influences such as the Epic film scores of Hans Zimmer, the breathtaking songs of Bon Iver, the experimental groove of MuteMath, and the beautiful simplicity of Olafur Arnalds, Coghill laces sound together with both stunning and emotive imagery, creating what can best be described as a journey; an experience that makes you feel as though you've arrived somewhere.
Will Small is a 3× Australian Poetry Slam National Finalist, spoken word poet, and author of three collections — most recently The Fossil of Us. His live show This is How We Survive weaves original poetry and storytelling with cinematic short films, exploring what it means to keep showing up when the world feels dark.
Will's work is motivated by a deep conviction that story is at the heart of human connection.
Kavisha Mazzella is an ARIA award winning singer songwriter who does not believe in world music.It's just music!!! Music unites us and creating imaginary titles such as world music is silly! She enjoys crossing musical boundaries and create community experiences in her shows
