Come with me on this 5 week adventure where we’ll uncover the gold within us through the power of poetry! In our 5 weeks together you’ll write amazing new work and share it with like hearted humans in a safe, supportive and inspiring space. We’ll get to know each other and form a little community! Get ready for the magic.
After the 5 weeks, we’ll come together for GOLD – a special performance where you’ll share the poetry you’ve created, celebrate your journey, and connect with your fellow participants. GOLD offers a joyful and empowering way to bring our creative journey full circle.
What will we do?
1. Create amazing new poetry...
I’ve found ways to tap into my poetic voice – to nurture it, feed it, and allow it the space to emerge.

• offer potent poetry prompts and guided exercises that will get you in touch with your expression and inspire your words to flow
• invite invigorating and nurturing group discussions

2. Gain confidence performing our poetry and sharing our expression with others in a safe space
When we speak what we’ve written out loud, we connect even more deeply with the poetry, ourselves and each other. It is truly healing, cathartic and empowering. It also allows the poetry to grow and evolve and breathe. We will…
• share our work in a supportive and nurturing space
• explore our own unique presence within a group
• explore and play with our unique voice and use of language
• Develop a fearlessness and dare to go where we have not gone before
• Connect with each others experiences, and walk away with the profound sense of what our own unique voice has to offer
3. Become part of a community
When we come together to share our poetry and bounce off one another, not only does it ignite our creativity and we generate work we never would have done so on our own, it also gives us a sense of being part of something bigger. In this course we’ll build our own little community. We’ll exchange ideas, inspire each other, discuss our blocks, our process, and have FUN!
4. Celebrate with the final performance – GOLD!
After the 5 weeks, all participants are invited to perform in GOLD, a final performance. We’ll present the gold we have uncovered and celebrate our incredible journey. This performance is included in the course experience and offers a safe, supportive, and uplifting space to showcase your poetry and connect with the community you’ve been building over the 5 weeks
