Submissions are done in two parts:
A Poem written by Poet
A Paragraph of Praise written by Friend of Poet, about why they love the Poem.
Selection by editor is made purely on the basis of how much they like the Paragraph of Praise.
Both Poem and Paragraph of Praise are published at LoveYourPoetry.org
The Fine Print:
Poems / Paragraph of Praise should not have been previously published.
This journal business is all new to me, so please be patient as I figure out a better submission process.
I should get back to you within the month. Nobody knows me, so I don’t think I’ll be inundated, but who knows these days.
I will not tolerate, correspond with or publish anything that is abusive, sexist, racist, homophobic, trans-phobic, or otherwise mean or awful. And I get to judge what’s awful. #SorryNotSorry.
P.S. Don’t be afraid to be OTT and arty with your Paragraph of Praise. I’m a poet. I like OTT and arty.
