A ten-week poetry course with poet Claire Gaskin, starting 9th October online via zoom, Thursday evenings from 6.30 -9pm. We will read, write and discuss poetry together. There will be opportunities to workshop your poems if you wish. This course is suitable for both beginners and accomplished poets who are interested in learning in a supportive environment of encouragement and exchange of ideas. More experienced poets benefit from fresh perspectives from beginners and beginners benefit from the knowledge of more accomplished poets. Claire aims to create a safe, inspiring and motivating environment in her courses. The objective is to establish, sustain and maintain a creative practice amongst a community of peers. We will cover technique, form and style.
