The brilliant Alan Pentland will MC Poets' Corner, which aims to encourage anyone who is involved to write, to read, to perform or simply to listen to poetry. By providing a platform for poets we want to promote and celebrate the joy, wisdom and passion that poetry can bring to life. Poet’s Corner at the Flinders Fringe will offer an entire morning of open mic poetry and spoken word. All are invited to either put your name on the board to present your piece (limited to 3 minutes) or to sit back and enjoy listening. Poets are welcome to bring their own publications to sell at the cash only trade table. Free entry. Book if you want to sit down. The event is held outside.
