Poetry from Agitation Hill welcomes Melinda Louise Smith, Friday 18th August, 6-7pm. This is a live streaming event from Canberra, A.C.T. Please join us for a night of great poetry. Melinda will read for 20 minutes, followed by a QnA involving the on line audience, before concluding with her encore. The zoom link will be posted on Thursday & the room will open by 5.45 pm.
Melinda Smith has been poeting for 25 years on unceded Ngunnawal and Ngambri country. Her latest book is Man-handled (Recent Work Press, 2020). She is the author of seven other poetry books, including the 2014 Prime Minister’s Literary Award winner, 'Drag down to unlock or place an emergency call.'
She also edits, teaches, and translates from Japanese.
