Camp Therapy Fundraiser & Art Jam at the Stingo

Feature: Camp Therapy Fundraiser

What is Camp Therapy, you ask? Well it's definitely, absolutely, probably not a cult. Though you may have seen some very colourful people around lately wearing matching shirts and making hand signs that look just a little culty. Camp Therapy is a forthcoming feature film written and directed by our darling Saara Lamberg. In brief, CT is Australia's first trans-activist satire about a conversion therapy for straight people. Seriously very funny.

Perc.U.Lations ft. Jaap Singh

Welcome to our second event in our new home in the Dandenong Library. There is both free and paid parking around the library, and the Dandenong Train Station is quite close as well.

Our Poetry and Spoken Word events will be held there on the second Saturday of each month from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm.

If you'd like to attend the poetry workshop beforehand, I'll be holding it in the library to avoid the winter weather. The workshop will start at 1pm and last until 2 pm. At that point, I'll be setting up the event space on the library's ground floor.

Do consider wandering past The Nong Cafe for a quick bite or a takeaway coffee! There are other great food and drink venues around as well.

Radio Laria Poetry with Anna Fern

Radio Laria is a community collective that runs monthly events where poets, writers and storytellers can gather to share their expressions.  Originally part of Girls on Key, Radio Laria prioritises featuring women and women-identifying poets, so as to create much needed opportunities.  We are always actively seeking to feature poets who may not have received the recognition that they deserve. We also enjoy featuring storytellers or performance artists whose creativity gets overlooked by the mainstream entertainment avenues.
