Poetry from Agitation Hill is the most recent version of an event that has been running in Castlemaine for 20 years at various venues. A formula has been in place for many years that both poet & audience seem to enjoy first Friday of every month, barring the unexpected. This of a feature reader reading for 20 minutes, followed by a QnA involving the audience, whether present or on line. There is also an exclusively on line version via zoom mid month. The session concludes with the poet's encore. All over in 1 hour. Local. state & international poets are featured.

The reading acknowledges the Dja Dja Warung, traditional owners of the land where the event takes place, their elders past, present & emerging.
