Dear Friends of Agitation Hill, 

Please join us for a night of great poetry with Mike Ladd, Friday March 20th, zooming from Adelaide, 6-7pm EST via Agitation Hill on Djaara country, Castlemaine.

Friends in  S.A. W.A., Queensland and Darwin,  don't miss out. Check the time difference.

Mike will read for about 20 minutes, followed by the popular QnA, concluding with his encore. All done in an hour on a Friday night before you pop out for the Friday fish n Chips. 

Mike Ladd is a South Australian poet, essayist and nature lover. He has published ten collections of poetry and prose, including the natural history Karrawirra Parri, Walking the Torrens from Source to Sea. Mike was the editor of ABC Radio National’s Poetica program, which ran for eighteen years and brought Australian and international poetry to a wide audience. His most recent book is Now Then: New and Selected Poems published by Wakefield Press in 2025.
