Dear Friends of Poetry from Agitation Hill, Djaara country, Castlemaine, please join us for a night of great poetry to begin 2026, live from London with Chrys Salt.

Chrys Salt has performed across the UK and Europe, India, Australia, Africa and Yukon.

She was International Poet at The Tasmanian Poetry Festival 2019 and has been
recipient of awards and bursaries (various). In 2014 was awarded an MBE in the late

Queen’s Birthday Honours List for Services to The Arts.

Please join us for a night of great poetry to begin the new  year with Chrys, who is rising early in wintery London to be with us: 6-7pm EST Summer Time. Thanks, Chrys.

Chrys will read for about 20 minutes, followed by the popular QnA, for about the same length of time, concluding with her encore.

Looking forward to seeing all our supporters from across Australia, and sometimes Europe, for these readings featuring a selection of fine Australian poets and special guests from the UK and Ireland.
