Ballarat Spoken Word is a warm and welcoming monthly open mic where we gather to listen, share, and connect through words.

Bring a poem, a story, something you've been working on, or simply discover your words in the moment. There’s no expectation that what you share be polished or complete.

There’s no theme this month. Instead, come with whatever is speaking to you right now. It might be something you've been thinking about, feeling, noticing, wrestling with, celebrating or wondering about.

Not ready to share? You're warmly invited to come along and listen. The act of witnessing is part of what makes this space what it is.
