G'day poetry friends,

We are back! Did you miss us? I hope so, because we missed you! For Valentine's month, on the very last day, 28th of February Saturday, we are throwing another Slamtidote poetry party!

Couple rounds of open mic poetry as per usual. Come read a poem! And if not, bask in the joy of hearing poetry surround you, and the poets have a choice to ask for musical accompaniment. Our very talented musicians can do so with ease, and it makes for quite magical moments, not to be missed!

And what happens on breaks, you may ask? well, we don't just stop at musical accompaniment, we have a whole half an hour of live music in the middle!

Also, throughout the night, we will be raffling off art, secondhand books, etc; as part of our legendary raffles, % of all revenue donated to a charity every month (more info soon)

So yeah, come take part. Come see why people keep coming back to Slamtidote events.

The address to the wheelchair accessible venue in Thornbury, will be emailed to you when you RSVP. Please check the email, it's towards the bottom of the email.

Soon to be registered as a Not For Profit, all money goes back into Slamtidote, getting to cover Venue hire costs, public liability insurance, paying the musicians, supporting the staff etc.
