Nathan will read for 20 minutes, followeed by a QnA involving the audience both in the chapel & on line, concluding with his encore.
Nathan Curnow lives and works on the traditional lands of the Wathaurong people in Ballarat. He is a poet, playwright, spoken word performer, and past editor of Going Down Swinging. His books include The Ghost Poetry Project, RADAR, The Right Wrong Notes and The Apocalypse Awards, with his work featuring in the Best Australian Poems series, the Anthology of Australian Prose Poetry, and Solid Air. He is a recipient of three grants from the Australia Council and his prizes include the Josephine Ulrick, the Woorilla, and the Vox Bendigo Fyffe Award. He’s also a two-time winner of the Martha Richardson Poetry Prize. In 2018 he toured Europe, opening the Heidelberg Literary Days Festival in Germany, and his new collection, Canaan, is forthcoming with Liquid Amber Press in August this year. Mostly, he writes things down so he doesn’t go blank.
