MORE ABOUT THE FEATURE:
Peter Roe is a prize-winning performance poet and flash fiction writer. Host of Bridport’s Apothecary Spoken Word for six years and a former Bard of Dorchester. He has been widely anthologised, the author of three poetry collections and a novelette, Odin and The Mead of Poetry. He is a frequent performer at poetry, fringe events and festivals across the South-West and is a host and event organiser for Museums and Arts Organisations. He is the Managing Editor of The Jawbone Collective and small press publisher Wessex-Media. Originally from Derbyshire he ‘blew in’ to Dorset twenty years ago. He currently lives in Broadwindsor. Peter has a background in technology and education, he still runs workshops in schools and is a Community Health Champion who believes passionately in the role of creativity as an aspect of personal health and mental well being.
