Mick Mezza @ Cherry Poets

  • Cherry Tree Hotel 53 Balmain Street Cremorne, VIC, 3121 Australia (map)

Good afternoon poets! The bright new year of poetry has already started, and this weekend we're keeping things going with a true stalwart of the Melbourne poetry scene as feature, that fabulous chap MICK MEZZA. You may know him from many venues and gigs, from the Dan O'Connell Poetry, to Passionate Tongues, to numerous Melbourne Poets Union gigs. He's a strong supporter of other poets, and brings his unique perspective and a great sense of humour to everything he writes. Join us with your own poems to share on the open mic, or just come along to have a few drinks, listen and share some good talk and good times with other poets. As always, come along 1.30 for a 2pm start. It'll be a great day!

MORE ABOUT THE FEATURE:
Mick Mezza has self published World's Apart (poetry), 5 Shorties( short plays) and Lio's road to football ( children's book) and has performed poetry in Australia, Italy, England and Greece and has his poems translated into Italian, Greek and Chinese.
