ABOUT YVETTE STUBBS:

Yvette describes herself as one of the matriarchs of the poetry scene and loves to encourage others to create.

Yvette was a featured poet four times in Europe in 2019 and has featured at many of the established poetry gigs around town including Poetryspective and Passionate Tongues.

She has been a finalist in Poetry Idol, The Doris Leadbetter Poetry Cup and several others.

Her poetry along with her visual art and voice are featuring as part of a multi arts/artists production in Ireland 2024.

Yvette is the creator, facilitator and driving force of Eclectic Creators Unite [ECU] a Facebook group created to encourage and support shared self-expression in many artistic forms.

She is a published author and has an unpredictable, creative edge to her poetry and performance. She will be sharing much of her new work with us on Wednesday and a few juicy pieces from old.

Her publications include Barbed Wire Kisses, launched at the Dan in 2016, and an anthology of poems from lockdown open mic zoom events from ECU.
