Featuring: Alana Kendall

Hey folks! Cracking day coming up this weekend at Cherry Poets. At long last we will be having as feature ALANA KELSALL, a brilliant poet, a strong supporter of the Melbourne poetry scene, and an all-round nice person. Of course we'll have our open mic, and I have to say I'm looking forward to hearing each and every one share their poems. It'll be a fine and salubrious occasion, if you don't mind me saying so - hope to see you there!

ABOUT THE FEATURE:
Alana Kelsall grew up on a farm and now lives on unceded Wurundjeri country. She was runner-up in the June Shenfield Poetry Award 2023 and shortlisted for the ACU Poetry Prize: Love. She has recently been longlisted for the 2024 Liquid Amber Poetry Prize.

Open Mic? Yes! 1.30pm open mic sign up with 2pm kick off? Yes Yes. Drinks and food? It's a pub, rest assured all things possible and lovely.
