Hello Poets, one and all! We've got a jolly big day of poetry coming up this Saturday at Cherry Poets, and we're very much hoping you'll all be able to come along.

Just look at the names in the title up there! First up we have sound poet/visual poet/zine poet/poet extraordinaire EDDY BURGER bringing some of his oddities of page and stage to us.

Secondly, we have the most excellent LAURA FISHER, brilliant host of RADIO LARIA and author of plays such as WHY NOT BELIEVE IN EVERYTHING joining us for a feature as well, because why not have two instead of just one?

And finally, let's make that three - we'll have that ever present Cherry Poets feature, the OPEN MIC. Because why stop at just two, and here the mic is ALWAYS OPEN! It's going to be a big day, a busy day (there'll be plenty of action in the pub for footy finals as well), and we're still working out all the details.

And just for this week, the reading will be performed UPSTAIRS, in the wine bar at the hotel, just to change things around a bit. What ho! It's all an adventure! So stay tuned, and watch this space for more announcements!
