This Saturday we are most delighted to present Gabrielle Everall reading a selection of her work at Cherry Poets (two sets). Gabby’s ace, so that would be reason enough to come along, but that’s not all. We’re also helping to raise needed funds for her upcoming trip to Paris to attend an incredible workshop (see info below). We will be putting out the donation hats, so bring along cash/coins/whatever you can spare, and we’ll make sure Gabrielle gets the assistance she needs for the journey. She’s just a couple hundred shy of the money needed for expenses, so should be totally doable.
In her own words:
“Here is a link about the workshop I am doing in Paris called ‘Paris as a Classroom’. I am leaving on the 7th of July 2023 and coming back on the 18th of July 2023. The class is taught by Lauren Grodstein who had published 6 novels and works as a lecturer at Rutgers. The class involves going to certain sites in central Paris and writing about them. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=&ved=2ahUKEwjum8qflZn_AhXsbmwGHXrVDMQQFnoECA8QAQ&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.pariswriters.com%2Fabout-5&usg=AOvVaw0U1BEO-mDMpx615aix2nE7 ”
