ABOUT OUR FEATURE:
Carina is an emerging poet from regional Victoria (Djaara country) who is currently based in Melbourne/ Naarm. After starting to explore spoken word and featuring at Mixed Bag last year, Carina won second place in the open mic at Seven Sisters Festival. Carina writes poems that often touch on climate change, gender nonconformity, and nostagia - despite an ongoing effort to vary the subject matter.
