Next Tuesday night is Passionate Tongues night. And the feature artist is David Hallett.
It's been a long time since David has graced the stage over here, usually he's busy up north hosting Writers At The Rails and Lismore Live Poets. For the last 30 years! Yes I said 30. He's done stuff. Not just published works, but also Nimbin Poetry World Cup, Reciter of the Year at the National Folk Festival, twice winner of the Sydney Writers Festival Poetry Olympics and slams at Byron Bay and Woodford. Oh and a National Australia Day Council award for contributions to the arts. In other words, He's quite something when it comes to performing poetry. So you had better see him while you can.
There will be open mic of course, and the famous hospitality of The Brunswick Green
