Hello everyone, next Tuesday night is Passionate Tongues night! And the feature performer is Waffle Irongirl.
Waff is cool without trying to be cool. And fearless. Fearless about being fragile, fearless about having the right to have a voice, fearless about performing their poetry in the way each individual gem is meant to be performed. Waffle Irongirl is an inspiration.

Waffle Irongirl (Es Foong) lives on the land of the Wurundjeri people. Their poems have appeared in Australian Poetry Journal, Rabbit Poetry, Kalliope X and the Best of Australian Poems 2022. They have performed on poetry stages including La Mama Poetica and Queensland Poetry Festival 2022. They want you to know that you are a wild, precious and unique expression of possibility and you are cherished.
