Our Poetry and Spoken Word events are held on the second Saturday of the month *AT A NEW TIME* 1 p.m., with a Poetry Writing Workshop running from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.
***Please also take note of the change in venue due to inclement weather - Dandenong Library.,
Please be in touch with Anke (@Katharina Gentie) should the weather report indicate rain, etc.
Our feature this October is Grace Inthewoods.
Grace Inthewoods is a curious person who likes to try things. She has, in no particular order, been a pianist, waitress, married, humanitarian aid worker, straight, depressed, and a swim teacher. She has lived and worked on five continents, half-picked up some languages, and learnt that there is more that unites us than divides us. Right now, she is a Naarm-based queer single mum poet, part time yoga teacher, working in peacebuilding and learning the clarinet.
An 'open mic' is available for as many poets as possible before and after our feature (or as much poetry as we are happy to share before our time is up).
