Radio Laria returns with features from the witty Gemma White and compelling Sharon Lee. Gemma White is a highly original poet and much-loved member of the Melbourne spoken word scene. Sharon Lee has been wowing us on the open mic with her high-energy, sharp rhymes and the time has definitely come for her to have her own feature. Our venue Open Studio (204 High St, 3070) is a Northcote institution for culturally amazing gigs.
We are also looking forward to the open mic where poets, storytellers and writers of all kinds are encouraged to share their work. All genders are welcome to read, sign up on the night, 10 slots available and a 5 minute limit. The audience is very supportive and we welcome new readers.
