This June we have two totally amazing features… Fleassy Malay and Pauline Sherlock! Fleassy Malay is the fierce, but gentle powerhouse of a poet, who convenes the amazing spoken word gig, Mother Tongue.
Pauline Sherlock is a spoken word artist, singer/songwriter, comedian, and improv artist Pauline Sherlock, who will being performing as… Pauline the Impaler! Do we have any idea what this will be like? No. Should you come to find out? Yes! Most definitely.

Our venue Open Studio (204 High St, 3070) is a Northcote institution for culturally amazing gigs.
We are also looking forward to the open mic where poets, storytellers and writers of all kinds are encouraged to share their work. All genders are welcome to read, sign up on the night, 10 slots available and a 5 minute limit. The audience is very supportive and we welcome new readers. Come along and join this warm, vibrant poetry community and don't forget about Open Studio's yummy crepes!
