SIP & SHARE - A speakeasy evening of poetry and spoken word on the Mornington Peninsula with feature poet Andrew Rogerson.

Andrew Rogerson is a two-time Australian Poetry Slam state finalist and the winner of the 2024 Poetryspective RetroSlam.

With his heart on his sleeve and a pop-culture reference in his back pocket, Andrew’s pieces are wordy, nerdy and flirty. Outside of performing, Andrew works in fintech and hosts “I Think, Therefore I Slam”, a podcast featuring the best spoken word and slam poetry artists from Australia and beyond. Held the third Saturday of every second month, Sip n Share is an evening of spoken word, storytelling, poetry and wine. Immerse yourself in the power of words as you sip on your favourite wine and share the experience with fellow storytellers and poetry enthusiasts. Our Sip n Share session include open mic performance, alongside a Feature Poet (the roster of feature poets includes some of Melbourne’s best poets). If you have never been to a spoken word or poetry event, come along and experience a night of heartfelt performances with ‘all the feels’, you will not be disappointed.
