Featuring guest poet Andrew Rogerson, to spark your imagination, followed by an open mic session for anyone who wants to share their words—whether it’s your first poem or your fiftieth. Whether you’re stepping up to the mic or simply soaking it all in, you’ll be in good company.

FEATURE POET: Andrew Rogerson is a two-time Australian Poetry Slam state finalist and the winner of the 2024 Poetryspective RetroSlam.

With his heart on his sleeve and a pop-culture reference in his back pocket, Andrew's pieces are wordy, nerdy and flirty. Outside of performing, Andrew works in fintech and hosts "I Think, Therefore I Slam", a podcast featuring the best spoken word and slam poetry artists from Australia and beyond.
