Please join us for a night of great poetry from Agitation Hill on Djaara Country, Castlemaine, on Friday, June 5th for Shey Marque.

Shey will read for 20 minutes, followed by the popular QnA involving the on line audience, concluding with her encore

Shey Marque is a former medical scientist living on the lands of the Whadjuk-Yued people in Boorloo (Perth). Her work has been published nationally and internationally, choreographed for contemporary dance, and made into poetry film.

The Hum Hearers (UWAP 2025) won the Wesley Michel Wright Prize 2025,  was a finalist for the 2023 Dorothy Hewett Award and was shortlisted for the Kenneth Slessor Prize  2026.
