Greetings all Perc.U.lators!
Welcome to our second event in our new home in the Dandenong Library. There is both free and paid parking around the library, and the Dandenong Train Station is quite close as well.
Our Poetry and Spoken Word events will be held there on the second Saturday of each month from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm.
If you'd like to attend the poetry workshop beforehand, I'll be holding it in the library to avoid the winter weather. The workshop will start at 1pm and last until 2 pm. At that point, I'll be setting up the event space on the library's ground floor.
Do consider wandering past The Nong Cafe for a quick bite or a takeaway coffee! There are other great food and drink venues around as well.
Let's make June joyous!
Our feature this May is Alicia Sometimes!
Alicia Sometimes is a poet, multi-media artist and broadcaster. She has performed her poetry at many venues, festivals and events around the world. Her poems have been in Best Australian Science Writing, Best Australian Poems and many more. Alicia is director/co-writer of art/science planetarium shows, Elemental and Particle/Wave.
