On May 21, we welcome Singapore Slam Champ, Shivram Gopinath to the Slama stage to help him release his debut poetry collection, Dey.

Shivram will be touring Australia alongside four Singaporean Writers who we look forward to welcoming to our community.

We are back on our beloved premiere stage at the Brunswick Ballroom. Slama is a space where we celebrate intersectional community and encourage Artists to bring their absolute best work to the stage. On April 23rd, after a hugely successful return to the stage in March, we celebrate a much beloved regular to Slama, who has shown up continuously with gusto and grit - leaving us with a feeling of always wanting to hear more.

Slam-O-Vision is a global competition that brings cities from around the world together online to celebrate poetry. This event will be your chance to vote for Melbourne's entrant, who will compete on the world stage. Each piece will be captured on video by Vibe Union, ready to show the world what Melbourne poetry is all about.
