Ela Fornalska has performed her work in many places and spaces including: a tram; a circus tent; classrooms; community television; libraries; a boat; radio; festivals; Europe; bookshops; and in a boxing ring.

Her words have also been published in various anthologies, audio compilations, literary magazines and journals. She has also released a full-length collection titled ‘The Dance Inside’.

Ela’s poetic prowess has been commended via being shortlisted in the teacher section of Red Room Poetry’s national competition ‘Poetry Object’; a finalist at the ‘Melbourne Spoken Word Prize’; a grand finalist in the ‘Sydney Road Writers Contest & Cup’; and winning the inaugural Wordcraft Spoken Word Slam
