Feature: Camp Therapy Fundraiser
What is Camp Therapy, you ask? Well it's definitely, absolutely, probably not a cult. Though you may have seen some very colourful people around lately wearing matching shirts and making hand signs that look just a little culty. Camp Therapy is a forthcoming feature film written and directed by our darling Saara Lamberg. In brief, CT is Australia's first trans-activist satire about a conversion therapy for straight people. Seriously very funny.
Camp Therapy has already won an award, and nobody’s even seen it yet. Crazy. The first trailer has just been screened locally, so it's a very exciting time for the cast and crew of busy beavers. Well we thought, what better time to get our peoples together and make some art n mischief. Such a multi-talented bunch of writers, actors, performers, visual artists, musicians, comedians, and karaoke rump shakers.
Come and meet the makers, see some wild and wonderful performances, and help us raise funds to get the film seen in as many parts of the world as possible. At time of posting this event there are 16 days to go on the Australian Cultural Fund campaign. So you could be involved in sending the film far and wide. And you can get involved on the open mic, but of course!
